The Journey Begins
Life; it is so much sweeter now that you are here.
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
Life: it is a dance. It gets better with practice; its music is in your heart and in your soul and in your blood and in your bones. Life; it is a dance. It get’s better with practice. You have a partner – your spirit. You can have a party if you like, but choose smartly who you invite, for life – your life – is a dance. It get’s better with practice, unless you stop the music, or so crowd your dance floor there is no space to move or be moved within in it. Yes, life; it is a dance. It gets better with practice.
Let’s dance.
“Success is the product of daily habits not a once in a lifetime transformation.” – James Clear
Now that you are here – (can you feel me smiling?) – let me tell you a very precious thing: “This is your life; only You can live it.”
You are strong – brave – capable – valued – gifted – possessed of joy, hope, peace and love – treasured – entrusted – loved – courageous – all the more powerful when you experience being and becoming who you are.
Love. Celebrate your achievements. Love on yourself. Acknowledge milestones cheerfully, but not overbearingly. Love is a thirst. Quench it. Love is a need as vital to the soul as water is to the body. Love up, down, sideways, and all around you throughout your journey. It is energizing. It is fun. When we are courageous enough to love ourself we will not suffer ourself to be abused. Love on yourself. Here is what I have found. There are a whole lot of popular pity-parties raving along our way provisioned to mummify love’s need, and we are most cordially invited to each and any of them – ego invites us, envy invites us, jealousy invites us, greed invites us; gluttony, anger, laziness, covetousness and false pride are all having a ball there too. But the fun ends when the bill arrives compliments of pity. Isn’t life intriguing? Love on yourself, so you won’t pamper yourself out of balance, out of rhythm, and out of focus, in your earnest press toward sustained health, wealth and happiness. For then, I have discovered, it is not a press. Oh, no. Pure love is flawless; it keeps us engaged. It keeps us strong. It is a joyous spring. It inspires action. Oh, how magnificent it is – love! (Enjoy ‘Flight of The Fused Monkeys). Love is priceless.
Thank you for spending this moment with me. Let’s make this a habit. Our journey will be remarkably exciting and transforming. You’ll see. We’ll exchange actionable discoveries along the way. We’ll meet brilliant people with fascinating lives and intriguing stories.
You’ll see.
May I kiss you on the cheek with a question:
when was the moment you felt most alive?
Aye! See you soon.
